Workshop: "The Abe Lincoln Experience"

Participants in this workshop will learn how to split firewood and fence rails using tools such as splitting mauls, axes, and hatchets. Participants will learn how to stack and season firewood, as well as ways to identify different types of hardwoods, will be discussed and demonstrated. Participants should bring their own axe or six-eight pound splitting maul. Let the office know if you do not have any tools so some may be provided.This is a 2 hour workshop. Cost is $30.00 per person. The cost for members and volunteers is $25.00. Limit 8 participants. Liability waiver required. (instructors-David Nielsen and Rachel Koski)
