Meet Sable at the Colonial Plantation and Aston's one room school house opens this weekend

Meet: Sable  

Born Wednesday,  June 18th to Delilah
Sable is half Jersey, 1/4 Holstein and 1/4 Milking Shorthorn bull calf.    

 Taken just minutes after being born

Saturday, June 28th & Sunday, June 29th 11 AM - 5 PM, last entry at 4 PM  

  Enjoy house and farm tours, herb garden talks and all the animals including ox, cow, horses, pigs, chicks, ducks, turkeys and lambs!  

There will also be cooking, woodworking and other everyday activities of the colonial time period. Refreshments and souvenirs may be purchased.

on Sunday, June 29th, 2014, between noon and 3 pm.
 
Step back in time and experience what it was like to attend an one room school....pull the rope to ring the bell....sit behind an old desk...write on the blackboard...visit the replica outhouse.  Please join us for a delightful old fashion afternoon!  There is something here for everyone!  There will be an assortment of items for sale along with membership and volunteer opportunities.  Old pictures and memorabilia are always welcomed!
