The Delaware County Historical Society in Chester is having two big exhibitions starting next month. First an exhibit on Al Aberts the Chester native and 1950's singer. Also next month an exhibit on General Smedley Butler of the U.S. Marine Corp. Butler who lived in Newtown Square was one of the very few men to win the Congressional Medal of Honor twice.
Also coming this weekend a few more ghostly haunts in Delco including one at the Colonial Plantation in Ridley Creek State Park. Check my website under Events for these and more Delco History Happenings!
