Fall Historical Events in Delco

Fall is a great time to get out and see what the history of Delaware County has to offer. This Saturday September 4, The Marcus Hook Preservation Society will have an ice cream social in honor of the Rochambeau March in 1781 to Yorktown. The event starts at 1 in the afternoon. A revolutionary regiment will also be camped out.  The Aston Township Historical Society  presents noted local Historian, Ms. Carol Fireng,  one woman trunk show. This event will be presented on Thursday, September 9th at 7 PM at the Aston Township Municipal Building, 5021 Pennell Road, rear entrance. Ms. Fireng will demonstrate her extensive collection of women's Colonial clothing. More about these events are on my website delawarecountyhistory.com on the main page under events
