 It is sad that the Delco Vets do not have a better place and more space. There are several Medal of Honor winners from Delco. It is also sad that the Morton Homestead in Prospect Park is closed due to state budget cuts. It is the oldest house in Pa. dates from 1654. The Brandywine Battlefield was almost closed last year.

The Delco History Blog is now open!

 For those of you who do not know me, I'm Keith Lockhart, a lifelong Delco resident and local historian. This blog is to get people talking about the great attractions and history we have in this county. For starters what do you think are the best history sites and museums in this county and are they used enough and why or why not?
